First Roman PR Rule

My ancient Greek teacher used to call ancient Romans ‘cabbage heads’. Yes, Cato taught that cabbage is good for wverything and it looked very simple to compare to the ancient Greek lyrics, but…

some time passed away and I changed my mind. I realized that these ‘cabbage heads’ created a kind of PR course book with some basic rules.

So, learn first Roman PR Rule: gutta cavat lapidem, non vi, sed saepe cadendo (a water drop hollows a stone not by force, but by falling often).

It was written by Publius Ovidius Naso.  He didn’t know much about cabbage, but had knowledge about the art of love and PR. Dixi!

Because in PR matters consistent and repeated actions.

Be precise where the drop should fall – what’s the priority goal.

In PR time is slow taking into account how fast our life is. So patience is a must. And this is the big challenge, so true PR is quite exclusive attitude in business.

And consistency. Don’t let go your goal! Evaluate, but see your stone ( your business environment) and know well where the drop should fall ( your business target).

What is the drop? Your story.
